Job Description


  • Prepares and analyzes financial statements.Attends monthly closing meetings to responds to management inquiries.
  • Prepares consolidated financial statements for the quarterly report to the parent company in Japan.
  • Prepares consolidated financial statement for the business plan.
  • Prepares the response to various censuses and questionnaires.
  • Conducts financial analysis quarterly.
  • Corresponds as the main contact for internal and external accounting auditors.
  • Coordinates with respective departments to respond to audit requests in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provides support for corporate income tax return preparation (federal and states) by supplying essential documents to Accounting firm with a thorough explanation of each schedule.
  • Trains and improves on subsidiaries’ monthly reconciliation process for enhanced timeliness of reporting.



  • Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees.
  • Completes I-9 for new hires and maintains I-9 records.
  • Creates new employee personnel files and files paper and documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists employees from Japan (expatriates or on short-term rotation) to apply social security number and management of company cars.
  • Takes care of all incoming and outgoing mails, subscriptions and periodicals including overnight and express mail.
  • Receives and dispatches direct deliveries at the reception desk.
  • Responsible for company cars maintenance and repairs.
  • Assists in maintenance of office equipment (copy machine, postage machine, telephone equipment, etc).
  • Contacts repair/maintenance service as needed.
  • Orders and maintains office supplies and pick up items from the store as needed.

  • Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Vice President.
  • Follows up to complete any assigned work.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
  • Maintains good communication with management, staff members and outside contacts.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
  • Reports to work daily (M-F) based on company schedule and complies with all company policies and procedures.
