General Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for

  • Overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at the location. This includes directing all IT operations to meet user / customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.
  • Development and implementation of IT global policies, rules and infrastructure through collaboration between IT teams of Parent company and its group companies.

Primary job responsibility is to develop and maintain viable IT foundation (organization, resources and infrastructure) which meet the Company?s business needs effectively. The position requires very close communication with IT teams of Parent and its group companies? to understand the Corporate global IT philosophy, goals and policies and to develop and execute the plans in accordance with those directions.

?

The position is also required to oversee the Company?s subsidiaries? IT structure and ensure that it works effectively in accordance with the Corporate standards.

?

  1. Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions
  2. Develop and manage IT organization and resources
  3. Develop and maintain IT infrastructure including hardware and software, phone system.
  4. Develop and maintain IT network system
  5. Plan, implement and maintain ERP system?
  6. Plan, implement and maintain business application software
  7. Develop and maintain IT vendor relations and license and service agreements
  8. Develop and implement IT policies and rules
  9. Develop and execute IT business plan including budget for short, mid and long terms

  • During the acquisition processes, assess the IT environment of company to be acquired and analyze risks and make recommendations to mitigate the risks identified.
  • During or after the acquisition processes, build up and execute IT integration plan for the acquired company.

While performing the duties of this job, the Staff Member is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The Staff Member is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to pick-up, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

The Staff Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

This position requires vision abilities such as close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. working in a business office with computers, printers, and telephones).

The Staff Member may be required to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary.

Proficient in the use of the following applications: Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and accounting software; and be able to design custom reports as necessary.
