Business Development Executive (Japanese Bilingual)
Language Requirement: Must be Japanese bilingual
Summary:
This role focuses on driving business growth by developing individual annual BD plans, acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, and supporting the pre-sales and marketing process. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, an interest in IT solutions (especially Microsoft Dynamics), and the ability to thrive in both Japanese and American business environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an annual individual business development plan, with approval from the Director of BD.
- Acquire new business opportunities from both Japanese and American clients to meet BD goals.
- Build and maintain client relationships to support project success.
- Upsell and cross-sell solutions to existing clients.
- Manage the pre-sales process: lead generation, opportunity qualification, presentations, proposal development, pricing, and closing.
- Deliver product demonstrations, especially for Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC (and GP/FO as needed).
- Report BD activity regularly to the Director of BD and maintain CRM records.
- Support broader BD activities across multiple regions, not limited to Texas/Southwest.
- Assist with marketing initiatives such as events, emails, website updates, and content creation.
- Develop compelling value propositions to enhance revenue growth.
- Participate in required training programs.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Japanese and English (required)
- Experience or interest in ERP/IT infrastructure solutions
- Strong presentation and client-facing skills
- Organized, self-driven, and collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with CRM tools and business development processes preferred
