This position focuses on verifying the quality of materials, components, assemblies, and completed equipment throughout receiving, production, and final inspection stages. The specialist will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and project teams to ensure that products and installations meet technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial quality inspection, understands engineering drawings and technical documentation, and is comfortable working with electrical, mechanical, and piping-related equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">What You&#039;ll Be Doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Equipment Inspection &amp; Quality Verification<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections of industrial equipment, components, assemblies, and related systems.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Inspect mechanical components, piping assemblies, electrical equipment, and control panels against approved engineering specifications.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Review engineering drawings, P&amp;IDs, electrical schematics, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Verify materials, dimensions, component identification, workmanship, and installation quality.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Identify damaged materials, manufacturing defects, assembly discrepancies, and nonconforming conditions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Assist with functional testing, dimensional verification, and other inspection activities as authorized and trained.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Verify that inspection and measurement equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Quality Compliance &amp; Documentation<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Perform inspections according to approved procedures, inspection and test plans, and established quality requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Maintain accurate inspection reports, checklists, test results, and quality records.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Identify and document nonconforming materials, equipment, and workmanship.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Support nonconformance reporting (NCR), corrective actions, reinspection, and issue resolution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Maintain material traceability, calibration records, inspection photographs, and supporting documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Assist with preparation of customer turnover packages and final quality documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Support quality management practices consistent with ISO 9001 requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Cross-Functional Coordination &amp; Continuous Improvement<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Work with engineering, manufacturing, production, and project teams to address quality-related concerns.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to clarify technical requirements and resolve inspection findings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Participate in quality meetings, production reviews, and inspection planning activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Support supplier and project-site inspections when required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Identify opportunities to improve inspection procedures, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Follow applicable workplace safety requirements, including lockout\/tagout procedures and appropriate use of personal protective equipment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Perform additional quality control and inspection duties as assigned.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">What We&#039;re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Professional Experience<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Approximately 6 months to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment inspection, quality control, or related technical functions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Experience inspecting industrial components, assemblies, or manufactured equipment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and inspection documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, or piping-related equipment and components.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Understanding of inspection methods, measurement tools, and calibration requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality management environment preferred.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Familiarity with customer turnover documentation and quality records is a plus.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Experience with industrial control panels, PLC systems, or electrical components is beneficial.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Education &amp;
