Working closely with the Site Manager, this position helps oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors and construction resources, and ensure project activities are completed in accordance with established safety, quality, and scheduling requirements. The ideal candidate has practical construction experience, strong field coordination skills, and the ability to identify and resolve issues that may affect project execution. This role offers an opportunity to take on increasing site leadership responsibilities while contributing to complex industrial construction projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">What You&#039;ll Be Doing<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Construction Site Supervision &amp; Field Operations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Support the Site Manager in overseeing daily construction activities and coordinating work across assigned project areas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Monitor subcontractor activities and field operations to ensure work is performed according to approved construction plans, technical specifications, and project requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Coordinate site facilities, temporary installations, safety equipment, and construction resources in accordance with applicable regulations and site procedures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Assist with planning equipment and material deliveries to support construction priorities and installation schedules.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Work directly with contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams to identify field challenges and develop practical solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Promote safe working conditions, proper housekeeping, and compliance with project-specific safety procedures.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Construction Scheduling &amp; Project Execution<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Review project schedules, construction milestones, and daily field progress to identify potential delays or operational constraints.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams to support timely completion of construction activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Assist in developing recovery plans and corrective actions when construction progress deviates from established schedules.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Review engineering drawings, P&amp;IDs, BIM models, and installation documentation to verify field conditions and construction requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Identify installation discrepancies and coordinate resolution with engineering and construction personnel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Support implementation of improved construction practices to enhance efficiency, safety, and project performance.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Project Coordination &amp; Field Reporting<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Prepare weekly construction progress reports, field activity summaries, and supporting documentation for site management.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Participate in construction coordination meetings and communicate project updates, concerns, and priorities to relevant stakeholders.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Maintain accurate construction records, work progress documentation, and field issue tracking reports.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and project management teams to resolve construction-related issues.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Escalate concerns involving project schedules, quality, safety, manpower, costs, or other operational risks.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Support continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and additional site management responsibilities as assigned.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">What We&#039;re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Professional Experience<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction, field supervision, project coordination, installation management, or site execution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Experience supporting industrial, commercial, utility, or other complex construction projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Understanding of construction site operations, subcontractor coordination, project scheduling, and field execution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Ability to interpret construction drawings, engineering specifications, and installation requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Experience monitoring construction progress, identifying field issues, and supporting corrective actions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across construction teams and external partners.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Demonstrated leadership potential, self-motivation, and commitment to professional development.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Education &amp; Certifications<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Bachelor&#039;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Valid driver&#039;s license required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">OSHA 510 Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain after hire.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Additional EHS certifications, such as ASP, CSP, or CHST, are valued.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Specialized safety training, including HAZWOPER, ESS, NFPA 70E, Fall Protection, or MEWP, preferred.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Additional Skills<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Familiarity with Microsoft Project or other construction scheduling software preferred.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Experience using project collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or Autodesk Forma is a plus.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Ability to navigate and interpret construction drawings, BIM models, project schedules, and engineering documentation using AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, or similar tools. Drafting experience is not required.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Familiarity with look-ahead schedules, digital field reporting systems, construction tracking applications, and mobile site management tools.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Strong documentation, construction reporting, and project coordination abilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Effective communication skills when working with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and project management personnel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, adapt to changing site conditions, and proactively address construction challenges.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">Work Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">This is a full-time, on-site position supporting active industrial construction projects in Phoenix, Arizona.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">The role involves frequent interaction with construction personnel, subcontractors, and engineering teams, along with office-based responsibilities such as scheduling, reporting, and documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Candidates should be comfortable working in active construction environments where exposure to outdoor weather conditions, construction equipment, airborne particles, electrical hazards, and vibration may occur.
