Candidates with an Accounting degree may be considered even without prior professional accounting experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support daily accounting and administrative operations<\/li>\n<li>Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities<\/li>\n<li>Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and supporting documentation<\/li>\n<li>Assist with monthly and year-end closing<\/li>\n<li>Review employee expense reports and supporting documents<\/li>\n<li>Maintain invoices, payment records, and other accounting documentation<\/li>\n<li>Support intercompany reimbursement and account reconciliation processes<\/li>\n<li>Assist with financial and tax audits<\/li>\n<li>Prepare internal accounting reports and maintain accurate financial records<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with the company&#039;s headquarters in Japan regarding invoices, reimbursements, and related accounting matters<\/li>\n<li>Provide general accounting support as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#039;s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred<\/li>\n<li>Recent graduates with an Accounting major are welcome to apply<\/li>\n<li>1\u20132 years of accounting experience is preferred but not required<\/li>\n<li>Strong Japanese reading and writing skills, particularly for business email communication<\/li>\n<li>Professional working English skills for internal communication<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of accounting principles<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other standard office applications<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage routine tasks consistently and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Flexible and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The accounting team is well established, with many long-tenured employees, offering an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and potentially take on broader responsibilities over time.<\/p>\n<p>Some overtime may be required during month-end and year-end closing periods.<\/p>\n<p>The interview process is expected to consist of up to two rounds.<\/p>\n<p><em>This is a sample job description prepared for recruitment purposes.
