Position Overview<\/h3>\n

A growing packaging company in the Irving, TX area is seeking an Associate Account Manager<\/strong> to join its sales team.<\/p>\n

This position will focus on building strong customer relationships, supporting existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and helping move customer projects from initial discussions through commercialization.<\/p>\n

Previous packaging industry experience is not required.<\/strong> The company is looking for someone with sales experience who is personable, professional, and enjoys building long-term relationships with customers. An interest in Japanese business culture and working in a multicultural, international environment<\/strong> is also highly valued.<\/p>\n

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the company and gradually take on greater responsibility for customer accounts, with a career path toward Account Manager \/ Sales Manager<\/strong> responsibilities.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.<\/li>\n
  • Support existing accounts and identify opportunities for account growth.<\/li>\n
  • Develop new customer and business opportunities.<\/li>\n
  • Communicate regularly with customers to understand their needs and follow up on ongoing opportunities.<\/li>\n
  • Support proposals, pricing discussions, and other commercial activities.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate customer requirements and project needs with internal teams.<\/li>\n
  • Follow customer projects from initial discussions through commercialization.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain organized records of customer activities, opportunities, and project progress.<\/li>\n
  • Learn the company\u2019s products, capabilities, and customer applications.<\/li>\n
  • Gradually take on greater responsibility for independent account management and business development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Experience in B2B sales, account management, business development, or a related customer-facing sales role<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
    • A positive, professional, and collaborative approach.<\/li>\n
    • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.<\/li>\n
    • Good organizational skills with consistent follow-up and attention to detail.<\/li>\n
    • Self-motivated and willing to learn new products and industries.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional internal teams.<\/li>\n
    • Interest in Japanese business culture and working in a multicultural, international business environment.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Packaging industry experience is not required<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n
