Position Summary<\/h2>\n

The Junior Accountant supports the Accounting team with daily transactions, cost accounting, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and month-end\/year-end close activities. This role works closely with production and procurement teams and is well suited for an early-career accounting professional seeking hands-on manufacturing accounting experience.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Record and reconcile AP, AR, and general ledger transactions.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close.<\/li>\n
  • Support inventory costing, cycle counts, and variance analysis.<\/li>\n
  • Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.<\/li>\n
  • Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with COGS calculations and project cost tracking.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.<\/li>\n
  • Gather documentation for internal and external audits.<\/li>\n
  • Assist with sales tax filings and compliance reporting.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with production and procurement teams on cost-related matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h2>\n

    Required:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.<\/li>\n
    • 0\u20132 years of related accounting experience; internships may qualify.<\/li>\n
    • Strong written and spoken English for business communication.<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work accurately with financial data, percentages, ratios, and related calculations.<\/li>\n
    • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship is available for this role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred:<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Familiarity with cost accounting and\/or manufacturing environments.<\/li>\n
      • Coursework or experience in financial or cost accounting.<\/li>\n
      • ERP experience such as SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.<\/li>\n
      • CPA track or progress toward certification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
