The company provides sensors and related automation products and supports customers and authorized distributors with product selection, technical inquiries, order fulfillment, inventory, and logistics.<\/p>\n<h2>Position Summary<\/h2>\n<p>The Inside Sales representative will provide customer service and technical sales support for industrial sensors and automation products while managing the full order process from quotation through shipment and invoicing.<\/p>\n<p>This hands-on position combines inside sales, product support, order administration, inventory control, shipping\/receiving, and coordination with the factory in Japan. <\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Respond to customer and distributor inquiries regarding product specifications, pricing, availability, order status, and basic technical questions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare quotations, follow up on sales leads, and maintain customer relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Review and process purchase orders, verifying pricing, account status, and required information.<\/li>\n<li>Enter and maintain orders in the ERP system and communicate expected shipping schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Track open orders and coordinate shipments upon receipt of products from the factory.<\/li>\n<li>Process invoices and maintain accurate transaction records.<\/li>\n<li>Receive shipments from Japan, verify quantities, and record inventory receipts.<\/li>\n<li>Manage inventory and place replenishment orders with the Japan factory to support demand and backorders.<\/li>\n<li>Perform hands-on warehouse activities, including stocking, picking, packing, and inventory counts.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange customer shipments through UPS, FedEx, or similar carriers.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain product literature and catalogs.<\/li>\n<li>Support trade shows and other sales activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<h3>Required:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge or experience related to industrial sensors, semiconductors, electronic components, or similar technical products is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand technical product specifications and provide basic customer support.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in customer service, inside sales, sales support, order administration, or a related function.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with order processing, delivery coordination, inventory management, and customer follow-up.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across sales, customer service, inventory, and logistics.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable performing hands-on receiving, warehouse, packing, and shipping activities.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Preferred:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct experience with industrial sensors or automation products.<\/li>\n<li>Experience assisting customers or distributors with technical product inquiries.<\/li>\n<li>Semiconductor or electronic components industry experience.<\/li>\n<li>ERP\/order management system experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience coordinating orders or inventory with overseas manufacturers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Other Details<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fully onsite<\/strong> at the San Jose office.<\/li>\n<li>Employees work 8 hours per day within the 7:00 AM\u20135:00 PM window;
