A major Japanese manufacturing company is seeking a bilingual Sales Assistant to support sales operations and order fulfillment. The company provides products primarily used in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry.<\/p>\n

Position Summary<\/h2>\n

The Sales Assistant will manage sales orders, inventory, shipping, and delivery coordination while supporting the sales team and customers. Professional Japanese language ability is required<\/strong> to coordinate directly with manufacturing teams in Japan and ensure timely product delivery to U.S. customers.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Enter new sales orders and quotations into the company system.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with factories in Japan to confirm production and shipping dates and communicate updates to customers.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor warehouse inventory levels and promptly report issues to the Sales Manager.<\/li>\n
  • Process rush orders and update sales orders and shipping information as needed.<\/li>\n
  • Determine appropriate shipping methods, routes, and carriers based on timing, specifications, and cost.<\/li>\n
  • Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate deliveries to ensure customer requirements and deadlines are met.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records.<\/li>\n
  • Issue invoices and credit memos.<\/li>\n
  • Support Accounts Receivable collection by contacting customers.<\/li>\n
  • Provide ongoing administrative and operational support to the sales team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h2>\n

    Required:<\/h3>\n

    • Professional Japanese and English communication skills.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to coordinate multiple orders, shipments, and deadlines simultaneously.<\/li>\n
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work effectively with customers in the U.S. and manufacturing teams in Japan.<\/li>\n
    • Basic proficiency with business systems and office applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred:<\/h3>\n

      • Experience in sales support, order processing, logistics, shipping, or inventory management.<\/li>\n
      • Experience coordinating with overseas manufacturing teams.<\/li>\n
      • Experience with semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial products.<\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with invoicing, Accounts Receivable, and warehouse inventory processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
