Position Summary<\/h3>\n

Responsible for general ledger accuracy, month-end close, multi-entity accounting, expense processing, cost-plus accounting, and international branch support. Japanese and English communication is required to support coordination with global operations. <\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Perform journal entries, bank reconciliations, and GL maintenance under US GAAP.<\/li>\n
  • Manage AP\/AR transactions and employee expense reports.<\/li>\n
  • Reconcile sales, VAT, use, and income tax-related accounts.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain inventory reconciliations and fixed asset records.<\/li>\n
  • Support month\/quarter-end close, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.<\/li>\n
  • Support SOX controls and external audits.<\/li>\n
  • Manage cost-plus accounting, overhead allocations, transfer pricing, and intercompany billings.<\/li>\n
  • Support overseas branches, currency translations, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h3>\n

    Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Japanese and English bilingual ability.<\/li>\n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n
    • 2\u20133 years of progressive corporate accounting experience.<\/li>\n
    • Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.<\/li>\n
    • Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.<\/li>\n
    • Accounting\/ERP system experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • QuickBooks experience.<\/li>\n
      • Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct experience.<\/li>\n
      • Manufacturing, technology hardware, or semiconductor industry exposure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Other Details<\/h3>\n
          \n
        • Occasional domestic\/international travel and weekend work may be required.<\/li>\n
        • Collaboration across global time zones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
