Established machine tool organization providing precision electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment to industrial customers throughout North America. The business supports customers through a distributor\/dealer network and focuses on expanding its presence within the EDM and broader machine tool market.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Position Summary<\/h2>\n

The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales and business development for wire EDM equipment across North America, with primary responsibility for the East Coast. This role is responsible for expanding market share, strengthening distributor relationships, developing key accounts, and executing regional growth strategies.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Drive sales of wire EDM machines and achieve revenue and profitability targets.<\/li>\n
  • Develop and execute sales and market-expansion strategies.<\/li>\n
  • Build, manage, and support distributor and dealer networks.<\/li>\n
  • Manage sales pipelines and develop key customer accounts.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain relationships with end users, distributors, OEMs, machine tool partners, and other industry contacts.<\/li>\n
  • Identify new business opportunities and execute go-to-market initiatives.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer needs.<\/li>\n
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic feedback to leadership.<\/li>\n
  • Lead and manage sales team activities as applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h2>\n

    Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Proven North American sales success with wire EDM, EDM, or comparable machine tool equipment.<\/li>\n
    • Hands-on experience developing and managing distributors\/dealers.<\/li>\n
    • Established network within the EDM or machine tool industry.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies.<\/li>\n
    • Sales leadership and team-management experience.<\/li>\n
    • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n
    • Business-level English.<\/li>\n
    • Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout North America.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Japanese language ability.<\/li>\n
      • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building or expanding a business or market.<\/li>\n
      • High degree of self-motivation, ownership, and accountability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
