Interest in Japanese food or culture is a plus, but Japanese language skills are not required.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare, mix, ferment, shape, and bake dough according to recipes<\/li>\n<li>Maintain sourdough starters and levain<\/li>\n<li>Produce breads, bagels, croissants, viennoiserie, and sandwich breads<\/li>\n<li>Manage oven temperature, steam, and baking quality<\/li>\n<li>Assist with recipe testing using high-hydration doughs, koji, and other fermented ingredients<\/li>\n<li>Monitor quality, inventory, and ingredient usage<\/li>\n<li>Maintain food safety, sanitation, and allergen standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2+ years of professional bakery experience preferred<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience with fermentation, dough shaping, and oven operation<\/li>\n<li>Sourdough, high-hydration dough, or viennoiserie experience is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to quality and consistency<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work early-morning and\/or afternoon shifts, including weekends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Compensation<\/h2>\n<p><strong>$24\u2013$32\/hour<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-26072","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
