A global industrial robotics and automation company is seeking an experienced engineer to join its Semiconductor Robot Engineering team. The organization develops robotic automation solutions for a wide range of industrial applications worldwide.<\/p>\n

Position Summary<\/h2>\n

The Robotic Application Engineer leads the development, testing, and maintenance of robotic products and applications for the semiconductor industry. This position works cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, and prototype engineering teams and provides technical and field support for customer applications.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Respond to customer requests involving semiconductor robotic applications.<\/li>\n
  • Lead prototype design projects from development through completion, ensuring project requirements and timelines are met.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate and provide technical direction to mechanical, electrical, software, and prototype teams.<\/li>\n
  • Create CAD drawings, 3D models, and engineering documentation based on customer and application requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Troubleshoot robotic systems and provide technical guidance for system issues.<\/li>\n
  • Support customers onsite, including domestic and international travel.<\/li>\n
  • Communicate complex engineering concepts and technical solutions through documentation and presentations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h2>\n

    Required:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor's degree (4-year college degree) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.<\/li>\n
    • 5+ years of application engineering experience in automation or the semiconductor industry involving vacuum-environment equipment.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Experience with both 3D and 2D CAD software.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of automation systems, including operating principles, key components, and major failure modes.<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of basic programming logic.<\/li>\n
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain and present complex technical concepts.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to quickly understand and implement new engineering concepts.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n
    • Ability and willingness to provide onsite customer support and travel domestically or internationally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred:<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • AutoCAD experience.<\/li>\n
      • NX experience.<\/li>\n
      • Experience with robotic systems designed for vacuum environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Other Details<\/h2>\n
          \n
        • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.<\/li>\n
        • Ability to bend, walk, and stand while handling objects weighing up to 25 lbs.<\/li>\n
        • Ability to use common mechanical tools, including screwdrivers, hex keys, and torque wrenches.<\/li>\n
        • Position includes hands-on engineering, prototype development, troubleshooting, and customer-site support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
