Build Your HR Career with Broad, Hands-On Experience<\/h2>\n

Seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist<\/strong> to join a professional HR team in San Diego.<\/p>\n

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety and wants exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources. Rather than focusing on just one function, you will support benefits, onboarding, recruiting, HRIS, employee records, retirement plans, immigration\/expatriate administration, and other HR operations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable handling confidential information, and enjoys working with employees and outside partners. Experience with UKG is highly preferred.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Do<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, including new hires and terminations<\/li>\n
  • Assist with benefits, compensation, 401(k), pension, and other HR programs<\/li>\n
  • Maintain and update employee information in HRIS and other databases<\/li>\n
  • Support immigration and expatriate administration, including visa coordination and employee relocation processes<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and audit HR reports and Excel spreadsheets<\/li>\n
  • Assist with recruiting activities and job postings<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files<\/li>\n
  • Assist with internal and external HR audits<\/li>\n
  • Research employee benefit questions and coordinate with insurance carriers and vendors<\/li>\n
  • Track and audit annual open enrollment information<\/li>\n
  • Support employee recognition and service award programs<\/li>\n
  • Assist with employee events and related coordination<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and update HR forms, letters, and employee communications<\/li>\n
  • Communicate with employees, vendors, and outside organizations by phone, email, and in person<\/li>\n
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the HR team<\/li>\n
  • Perform other related HR duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What We\u2019re Looking For<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR administration, benefits administration, recruiting, or a related field<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred<\/li>\n
    • Strong Excel and data-entry skills<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint<\/li>\n
    • HRIS experience preferred<\/li>\n
    • UKG experience highly preferred<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n
    • Professional written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels as well as outside vendors<\/li>\n
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information<\/li>\n
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
