This position focuses on evaluating the creditworthiness of U.S. subsidiaries of Japanese and other Asian companies, preparing credit applications, and monitoring an assigned loan portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>The Credit Associate will report to a Team Leader, collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, and communicate regularly with credit teams in both the United States and Japan.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze the financial performance of borrowers and their parent companies, including historical results, cash flow, risk capital, and financial projections.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare credit applications, credit analyses, and pre-screening memoranda for review by the Credit Department.<\/li>\n<li>Gather supporting documentation, assist with deal structuring, and coordinate with middle- and back-office teams on KYC requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct quarterly and annual portfolio reviews and maintain accurate internal credit grades and borrower reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Support amendments, new loan originations, closings, funding, and other credit events affecting borrowers.<\/li>\n<li>Research relevant industries, sectors, regions, and individual credits while remaining current on market and economic conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Address procedural and system-related matters associated with the loan portfolio.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports for management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent education and training will also be considered.<\/li>\n<li>At least five years of relevant experience at a corporate bank or other financial institution.<\/li>\n<li>Formal credit training preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Strong financial statement, cash flow, and credit-risk analysis capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Japanese-language proficiency is required.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively across teams and communicate with stakeholders in both the United States and Japan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-26023","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Credit Associate ( Bilingual Japanese\/English Required) - Pasona N A, Inc. | Your Career Partner<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/job\/062830\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Credit Associate ( Bilingual Japanese\/English Required) - Pasona N A, Inc. | Your Career Partner\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Credit Associate ( Bilingual Japanese\/English Required) Job Location: NYC Working Hour: 9-17\/Mon to Fri Working Model: Hybrid A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced Credit Associate to support its corporate banking portfolio.
