This position will also monitor and support subsidiary and affiliate companies, contribute to consolidated business planning, and take a hands-on approach to portfolio growth.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will combine industry research, market and financial analysis, relationship development, and execution skills to evaluate opportunities and support business strategy\u2014from initial assessment through implementation and exit.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>New and Existing Business Development<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities, primarily in Food &amp; Retail, through industry research, market analysis, financial evaluation, and relationship development.<\/li>\n<li>Assess markets, business models, competitive positioning, costs, cash flow, commercial potential, and strategic fit.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports and recommendations for management and contribute to business projections, strategies, and implementation plans.<\/li>\n<li>Identify prospective partners, determine how the organization can add value, and develop relationships with partners, investors, portfolio companies, clients, and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain existing business relationships and recommend new business models, start-up services, marketing plans, and growth initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor industry trends, emerging business models, and economic conditions to identify market opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Identify synergies across portfolio companies and support acquisitions, investments, operational improvement initiatives, post-merger integration, and new business launches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Group-Company Monitoring and Analysis<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and analyze group-company financial statements in coordination with relevant corporate departments.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend initiatives and action plans to senior management to improve performance and support growth strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Provide timely reporting on group-company status and business performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hands-On Portfolio Support<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with group-company management and employees to implement approved performance-improvement plans.<\/li>\n<li>Keep stakeholders informed of each action plan\u2019s scope, terms, progress, and timing.<\/li>\n<li>Support portfolio growth through collaboration with internal business divisions, invested companies, and prospective partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work under the guidance of senior leadership while independently managing assigned workstreams.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in additional initiatives, assignments, and projects as requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field required; MBA preferred.<\/li>\n<li>At least seven years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in management consulting, food manufacturing, food trading, or a related operating business is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Food, retail, or related industry expertise, with the ability to conduct detailed research and develop business recommendations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Working knowledge of financial modeling, analysis, accounting, business arrangements, market data, business plans, and financial statements.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate across functions and stakeholder groups, navigate differing interests, and maintain a solutions-oriented approach.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in an ambiguous, cross-cultural environment while managing multiple priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Interest in long-term career growth within a global organization or one of its affiliated businesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This description summarizes the responsibilities most frequently performed and is not intended to represent a complete list of assigned duties.
