Job Title: Food Sales Representative<\/strong><\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> Santa Fe Springs, CA <\/p>\n

Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-Time, Exempt<\/p>\n

Salary:<\/strong> $71,000\u2013$75,000 per year<\/p>\n

Bonus:<\/strong> Annual profit-sharing bonus<\/p>\n

Work Style:<\/strong> Primarily onsite and field-based<\/p>\n

Travel:<\/strong> Approximately once per month, including occasional weekends<\/p>\n

Position Overview<\/h3>\n

A growing food products company is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to develop and support U.S.-based customer accounts.<\/p>\n

This position focuses on outside sales, customer visits, product demonstrations, and business development with restaurants, supermarkets, distributors, and other foodservice accounts. Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in food, cooking, and sales are welcome to apply.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and work closely with an experienced senior sales professional.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Visit existing and prospective customers to build relationships and increase sales.<\/li>\n
  • Develop new business through in-person visits, outreach, and account research.<\/li>\n
  • Plan and conduct cooking demonstrations and product sampling events.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare ingredients, transport products and equipment, cook, present products, and engage customers.<\/li>\n
  • Support customer promotions, menu ideas, product launches, and in-store events.<\/li>\n
  • Recommend products based on customer needs and convert interest into sales opportunities.<\/li>\n
  • Attend trade shows, customer events, and promotional activities.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate customer orders and follow up on delivery, inventory, and service issues.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and customer records in the CRM system.<\/li>\n
  • Gather market and customer feedback and share insights with internal teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.<\/li>\n
    • 1\u20132 years of experience in food sales, foodservice, grocery, retail, hospitality, or CPG is preferred.<\/li>\n
    • Food-related part-time or customer service experience may also be considered.<\/li>\n
    • Strong English communication and presentation skills.<\/li>\n
    • Genuine interest in food, cooking, recipes, and Japanese food products.<\/li>\n
    • Comfortable cooking and presenting food in front of customers.<\/li>\n
    • Confident approaching new customers and developing business relationships.<\/li>\n
    • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field.<\/li>\n
    • Valid driver\u2019s license and ability to travel locally and domestically.<\/li>\n
    • Availability for occasional weekend work and travel.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to lift and transport products and event supplies weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Work Schedule<\/h3>\n

      Tuesday is typically an office day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Other workdays are primarily field-based, with schedules arranged according to customer visits, demonstrations, and travel needs.
