{"id":25832,"date":"2026-07-23T18:33:04","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T18:33:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/062743\/"},"modified":"2026-08-06T17:20:29","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T17:20:29","slug":"062743","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/job\/062743\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Expatriate HR Coordinator &#8211; Japanese Bilingual"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Senior Expatriate Coordinator (Japanese-English Bilingual)<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Manhattan, NY<\/p>\n<p><strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time, Non-Exempt<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong> $60,000\u2013$75,000 + bonus<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>About the Role<\/h2>\n<p>Our client, a global trading and investment organization, is seeking a detail-oriented bilingual professional to support Japanese expatriate employees throughout their assignments in the Americas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Direct experience in expatriate administration, immigration, payroll, or tax is <u>not required.<\/u><\/strong> Candidates with strong administrative experience, Excel skills, confidence working with numbers, and excellent attention to detail are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate expatriate onboarding, transfers, and departures<\/li>\n<li>Maintain employee records, tracking reports, and payroll worksheets<\/li>\n<li>Assist with payroll, allowances, reimbursements, and payment processing<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate visa, immigration, and tax-related documentation<\/li>\n<li>Review numerical data and identify errors or discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Respond to employee inquiries and communicate with headquarters in Japan, internal departments, and external vendors<\/li>\n<li>Support HR administration and process-improvement projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluent Japanese and business-level English<\/li>\n<li>Strong administrative, coordination, or operations support experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with numerical data<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional accuracy, organization, and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Proactive work style with the ability to manage multiple deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SAP, Concur, payroll, or HR systems is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Approximately three or more years of related experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants with backgrounds in administration, HR, accounting support, bookkeeping, billing, payroll, executive assistance, or data management are welcome to apply.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Work Arrangement<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Manhattan office attendance five days per week<\/li>\n<li>Up to three work-from-home days per month<\/li>\n<li>Overtime compensation provided<\/li>\n<li>Short Excel assessment required during the selection process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Disclaimer: This is a sample job description created for recruitment purposes.
