A Japanese chemical trading company<\/strong> is seeking a Sales Support & Logistics Coordinator. This role supports the sales team across the entire business cycle\u2014from order processing to collection\u2014while providing strong customer service and relationship management. <\/span>Japanese language skills <\/strong>are a plus.<\/span><\/h3>\n

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h2>\n

Business Cycle<\/h3>\n

Manage, optimize and coordinate full sales order cycle by:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Setting up new accounts, customer, supplier, vendor, and warehouses.<\/li>\n
  • Applying for and maintaining credit lines within approved limits for the entire supply chain.<\/li>\n
  • Assist Sales in the quoting process for new and existing businesses.<\/li>\n
  • Processing customer sales order(s)<\/li>\n
  • Product purchasing, inventory planning and control<\/li>\n
  • Arranging logistics and transport for delivery (domestic, international import, and export)<\/li>\n
  • Understand and adhere to Local, Federal, and company compliance rules and regulations related to Import and Exports.<\/li>\n
  • Processing Billing & Payments; management of accounts receivable and payable<\/li>\n
  • Trouble-shooting (tracking delays, lost shipments, expedited orders)<\/li>\n
  • Track\/ follow up with collections from customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Customer Service \/ Relationship Management<\/h3>\n

    Manage and enhance relationships with customers, suppliers, logistics and transport companies, and internal constituents.<\/p>\n

    Sales Support<\/h3>\n

    Manage accounts to assist business department in reaching budgeted gross profit by:<\/p>\n

    • Servicing new and existing accounts<\/li>\n
    • Identifying sales opportunities where applicable<\/li>\n
    • Collect and report forecast data to appropriate parties.<\/li>\n
    • Managing credit (zero over credit mandate) and Accounts receivable, collection schedules, and collection tactics (minimize past-dues and inventory aging)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      POSITION REQUIREMENTS<\/h2>\n
        \n
      • Associates degree or equivalent experience<\/li>\n
      • Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in a sales support\/customer service function (Logistics, Supply Chain and\/or Import\/Export experience preferable)<\/li>\n
      • Customer orientated; excellent administrative, communication and presentation skills required<\/li>\n
      • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively<\/li>\n
      • Experience with all MS office application skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)<\/li>\n
      • Basic knowledge of Accounting, Finance and Enterprise systems<\/li>\n
