{"id":25684,"date":"2026-07-09T19:44:43","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T19:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/062653\/"},"modified":"2026-07-09T19:44:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T19:44:43","slug":"062653","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/job\/062653\/","title":{"rendered":"Accountant &amp; Financial System Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Japanese logistics holdings company in Secaucus NJ\u00a0is hiring Accountant &amp; Financial System Support.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">Job Title: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14px\">Accountant &amp; Financial System Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time, Exempt position<\/li>\n<li>Salary: $70,000 \u2013 $75,000 annually<\/li>\n<li>Location: Secaucus, NJ<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid schedule: 3\u20134 days per week in the office<\/li>\n<li>Report to the Accounting Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Position Summary<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for daily accounting operations, month-end close support, and accurate financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial systems support for Sage Intacct and Emburse Chrome River, helping improve processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare monthly financial statements using Sage Intacct while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Manage month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Perform balance sheet and P&amp;L reconciliations and investigate accounting variances.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations across multiple entities.<\/li>\n<li>Process weekly Accounts Payable check runs and monitor vendor payments.<\/li>\n<li>Manage daily Accounts Receivable cash applications and maintain accurate receivable balances.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare customer billings through Sage Intacct.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external audits.<\/li>\n<li>Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements utilizing Sage Intacct.<\/li>\n<li>Develop financial reports and customized reporting to support management decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Emburse Chrome River expense management system, including system maintenance and configuration updates.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the integration between Sage Intacct and Chrome River and troubleshoot system-related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the annual budgeting process by gathering and analyzing financial data.<\/li>\n<li>Support cash flow monitoring and provide financial analysis for management.<\/li>\n<li>Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#039;s degree in Accounting or Finance required.<\/li>\n<li>5\u201310 years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on Sage Intacct experience is required, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reporting, configuration, security setup, and multi-entity environments.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.<\/li>\n<li>Transportation or logistics industry experience is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-25684","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/25684","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=25684"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=25684"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=25684"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
