This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional service standards while developing a high-performing team in a luxury Japanese dining environment.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<h3>Operations Management<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Manage opening\/closing procedures and daily service execution.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor labor costs, food costs (COGS), and overall financial performance.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with food safety and California labor regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Team Leadership<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant staff.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on hospitality.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with HR on hiring, employee relations, and compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Guest Experience<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build relationships with guests and ensure outstanding service.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<h3>Required<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of hospitality management experience.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years as a General Manager in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or upscale restaurant concepts.<\/li>\n<li>Strong P&amp;L management and labor cost control experience.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent leadership and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of POS, scheduling, and reservation systems.<\/li>\n<li>Authorized to work in the U.S.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Preferred<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Japanese cuisine or luxury hospitality.<\/li>\n<li>Japanese-English bilingual.<\/li>\n<li>California Food Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent).<\/li>\n<li>Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-25630","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/25630","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=25630"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=25630"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=25630"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
