The company offers a collaborative, multicultural work environment and opportunities to work with customers and business partners throughout North America and overseas.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to join a growing team in Calgary. In this role, you will be responsible for the sales and marketing of specialized steel products, including Line Pipe, OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods), Specialty Tubing, and related carbon, alloy, stainless steel, and chromium-molybdenum products primarily used in the oil and gas industry.<\/p>\n<p>This role is ideal for a sales professional with 3\u20135 years of experience who enjoys building customer relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and managing projects from inquiry through delivery. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across Canada and internationally to support sales and business development activities within the steel and energy sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Japanese language skills are highly valued, as the role involves collaboration with colleagues and business partners in Japan and other global locations.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.<\/li>\n<li>Identify new business opportunities and support business development initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular customer visits, sales calls, and account reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the full sales cycle, from customer inquiries and quotations to contract execution and delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate logistics, inspections, and other operational requirements to ensure successful order fulfillment.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, and business reports.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve customer concerns and support continuous improvement of products and services.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal and international teams to support customer needs and business growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3\u20135 years of B2B sales, account management, or business development experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in steel, manufacturing, industrial products, energy, oil &amp; gas, or a related industry.<\/li>\n<li>Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the North American energy and industrial markets.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in an international business environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Language Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business-level English required.<\/li>\n<li>Japanese language skills (speaking, reading, and writing) are a strong asset and highly preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to work for a globally recognized organization.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to international business and cross-border transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive compensation and long-term career growth potential.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative team environment with opportunities to develop commercial and leadership skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is an existing vacancy.
