This individual will have direct accountability for financial performance, commercial and operational contracts, market exposure, and overall asset optimization.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Asset &amp; Financial Performance Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the financial performance, operational efficiency, and contractual health of power generation assets, including Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and CCGT facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor KPIs, budgets, and actual performance; lead corrective action planning to ensure annual profitability targets are met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Operational Optimization<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify opportunities for performance improvement at operating facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize O&amp;M strategies, evaluate contractor performance, and recommend enhancements based on profitability analysis and benchmarking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Commercial Contracting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the review, negotiation, and execution of commercial agreements, including PPAs, tolling agreements, hedges, and other revenue contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with contract requirements and proactively manage obligations and risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4. Power Market Strategy &amp; Revenue Maximization<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor supply\/demand dynamics and price movements in key markets (ERCOT, PJM, Mexico).<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategies to maximize revenue and reduce market exposure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5. Safety &amp; Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish and oversee safety and operational risk management frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Work with plant and site teams to conduct risk assessments, monitor safety KPIs, and implement mitigation measures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>6. Portfolio Strategy &amp; Exit Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct analyses related to exit opportunities, including asset divestiture, refinancing, and restructuring.<\/li>\n<li>Provide recommendations to senior leadership based on market conditions, valuation, and investment strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>7. Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work collaboratively with technical, legal, finance, and operations teams to support asset performance and strategic initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Engage external partners, advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>8.
