Position: Procurement Coordinator – English\/Japanese Bilingual preferred<\/span><\/p>\n

Industry: Aerospace Parts<\/span><\/p>\n

Location: Kirkland, WA<\/span><\/p>\n

Salary: $50-60K (DOE)<\/span><\/p>\n

Hours: 9am – 5pm<\/span><\/p>\n

\ufeffIntroductory Period: The first three (3) months of employment will be considered a probationary period, during which the employee's performance, attendance, and overall suitability for the position will be evaluated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Travel: 20% in the office, 80% at the vendor sites (most of them are within driving distance. 2-3 times a month out of state travel)<\/span><\/p>\n

JOB SUMMARY:\u00a0\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

The Procurement\u00a0Coordinator\u00a0will manage all\u00a0assigned\u00a0vendors in terms of PO acknowledgements, production control,\u00a0delivery and claim settlements in order to maintain stable parts supply to assembly\u00a0line in Japan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Expedite vendors\u2019 production for on-time shipments.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Expedite shortage parts, passed due date parts and urgent parts.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Resolve misunderstanding between buyers in Japan and vendors in USA.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Request vendors to fill in, obtain and review follow up lists of vendors.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Arrange urgent parts shipments as necessary.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Make sure the procurement status of material and parts those are used for fabrication of the Company purchased parts as necessary.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Make sure the status of the parts that are processed by the outside production of the vendors as necessary.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Relay claim notes from the Company to vendors and coordinate with vendors as necessary for resolution of discrepant items.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Relay purchase order change requests from the Company to vendors and coordinate with vendors as necessary for any disagreement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Support to perform source inspection of vendors\u2019 products.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Support buyers in Japan as for the procurement operation.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  12. Collect and inform the information of vendors and aerospace industry in USA.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Bachelors Degree.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Must 2+ Year\u00a0working\u00a0experience\u00a0required.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Competent computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and the office use hardware.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
