\u00a0Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Associate who will support and contribute to business development initiatives and strategic partnerships for corporate US operation. The role involves supporting projects from opportunity identification through execution, conducting research and analysis, preparing materials, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to contribute to tangible business outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Location: Seattle, WA<\/span><\/p>\n

Exempt position, hybrid\u00a03 days in office<\/span><\/p>\n

$97K-124K +bonus + fabulous health benefits package<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Accountabilities <\/strong><\/p>\n

Business Development (70%)<\/span><\/p>\n

Project Contribution & Execution<\/u><\/p>\n

-Conduct quantitative economic analysis in support of selected business development projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n

-Apply econometric theory and data science skills to build models and evaluate business development opportunities<\/span><\/p>\n

-On the basis of that quantitative economic analysis, prepare presentation materials, proposals, and other documents to support project execution and management decision-making.<\/span><\/p>\n

Opportunity Origination & Coordination<\/u><\/p>\n

-Identify and help shape new business development initiatives through research and analysis in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n

-Partner with business groups to connect our affiliates with relevant external partners, initiatives, and activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

-Contribute to corporate-level business development efforts by supporting and coordinating initiatives across multiple business groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Partnership Building and Development (30%)<\/span><\/p>\n

Ecosystem & External Engagement<\/u><\/p>\n

-Build and maintain relationships with external partners that are critical to compnay\u2019s business development and intelligence activities and leverage these relationships to generate opportunities and support project execution.<\/span><\/p>\n

Organizational Contribution & Intelligence<\/u><\/p>\n

-Share networks, insights, and intelligence generated through business development activities with relevant \u00a0internal stakeholders to support broader organizational initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Required Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Relevant experience in research and business development<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ability to use AI tools for daily work such as research, document preparation, and taking meeting minutes<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Business level English and Japanese proficiency<\/span><\/p>\n
