Sales Manager \/ Technical Sales \u2013 Pneumatic Parts<\/strong><\/p>\n

Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois<\/p>\n

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager (or equivalent) for a manufacturing company specializing in pneumatic components. The position is based in the U.S., with headquarters in Japan.<\/p>\n

This company is a manufacturer of advanced pneumatic equipment with over 45 years of experience. Its product line includes pneumatic tube fittings, air valves, polyurethane tubing, vacuum ejectors, generators, and filters.<\/p>\n

Role Overview<\/h3>\n

This role is responsible for sales activities across designated regions in the U.S. and Canada.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Manage existing key distributors (MN, CO, CA, TX, NY, NJ, MA, FL, and Ontario, Canada)<\/li>\n
  • Support end users and OEMs working with current distributors<\/li>\n
  • Develop new customers across the U.S. and Canada (excluding some Midwest areas)<\/li>\n
  • Promote and sell pneumatic components with strong technical knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This position involves frequent customer visits and requires a proactive approach to developing business, solving problems, and delivering solutions. A strong mindset to achieve targets and contribute to overall company growth is essential.<\/p>\n

    Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Handle all sales activities (RFQ, order and delivery follow-up, inventory management, and forecasting)<\/li>\n
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships<\/li>\n
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support operations and resolve issues<\/li>\n
    • Track sales targets and work with the Sales Planning team<\/li>\n
    • Prepare reports and manage sales pipelines<\/li>\n
    • Conduct market research and analyze competitors and growth opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Requirements<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Minimum 3 years of experience in pneumatic or related industries (hydraulics, mechanical engineering, automation)<\/li>\n
      • Sales experience with strong communication skills<\/li>\n
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of sales targets<\/li>\n
      • Team-oriented mindset<\/li>\n
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (CRM experience is a plus)<\/li>\n
      • Strong English skills (Japanese is a plus, not required)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
