About the Role:<\/h2>\n

A well-established Japanese company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and consolidation activities across multiple U.S. entities.<\/p>\n

This position will work closely with overseas headquarters, affiliated companies, external accounting firms, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient accounting operations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and comfortable working in an international business environment.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including consolidated management accounting for multiple U.S. affiliated entities<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and submit monthly consolidated reporting packages using the parent company\u2019s consolidation reporting system<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate financial reporting and communication with overseas headquarters<\/li>\n
  • Process and manage payments through banking platforms<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate year-end closing activities with external accounting firms<\/li>\n
  • Prepare annual consolidated financial statements for tax and business reporting purposes<\/li>\n
  • Support implementation and migration to new accounting and financial systems<\/li>\n
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies<\/li>\n
  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance requirements as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications:<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<\/li>\n
    • Japanese language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) required<\/li>\n
    • 5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience<\/li>\n
    • Experience with consolidated financial reporting and month-end\/year-end close processes<\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation<\/li>\n
    • Experience working with international or multinational companies preferred<\/li>\n
    • Experience with ERP systems or financial consolidation systems preferred<\/li>\n
    • Advanced Excel and financial systems skills<\/li>\n
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
