{"id":25009,"date":"2026-05-13T20:30:05","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T20:30:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/062202\/"},"modified":"2026-07-09T13:45:23","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T13:45:23","slug":"062202","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/job\/062202\/","title":{"rendered":"Accounting Manager &#8211; Japanese Bilingual"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Accounting Manager (Japanese Bilingual)<\/h1>\n<h2><strong>Location:<\/strong> New York, NY (Hybrid)<\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>About the Role:<\/h2>\n<p>A well-established Japanese company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and consolidation activities across multiple U.S. entities.<\/p>\n<p>This position will work closely with overseas headquarters, affiliated companies, external accounting firms, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient accounting operations.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and comfortable working in an international business environment.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including consolidated management accounting for multiple U.S. affiliated entities<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit monthly consolidated reporting packages using the parent company\u2019s consolidation reporting system<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate financial reporting and communication with overseas headquarters<\/li>\n<li>Process and manage payments through banking platforms<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate year-end closing activities with external accounting firms<\/li>\n<li>Prepare annual consolidated financial statements for tax and business reporting purposes<\/li>\n<li>Support implementation and migration to new accounting and financial systems<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies<\/li>\n<li>Assist with audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance requirements as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Japanese language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) required<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience with consolidated financial reporting and month-end\/year-end close processes<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with international or multinational companies preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ERP systems or financial consolidation systems preferred<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel and financial systems skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and communication skills\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-25009","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/25009","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=25009"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=25009"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=25009"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
