Salary:<\/strong> $50,000 \u2013 $55,000 DOE \/Exempt<\/p>\n

Work shedule: 7:30am-4:30pm with 1 hour lunch<\/p>\n

Position Overview<\/h3>\n

We are seeking a motivated and bilingual Factory Office Staff \/ Translator & Interpreter<\/strong> to join a manufacturing facility in Alabama. This position is ideal for candidates who are interested in manufacturing and production environments, including entry-level applicants with strong Japanese-English communication skills.<\/p>\n

The primary responsibility is interpretation and translation support for factory operations and meetings. In addition, this role will also support data analysis, reporting, and administrative coordination across multiple departments.<\/p>\n

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys cross-cultural communication, problem-solving, and working closely with both Japanese expatriates and local team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Interpret and translate documents and communications between Japanese and English<\/li>\n
  • Provide interpretation support during meetings and daily factory operations<\/li>\n
  • Perform simultaneous interpretation when required<\/li>\n
  • Support Japanese expatriate staff<\/li>\n
  • Assist with production planning and coordination<\/li>\n
  • Support departments such as Production, Quality, Planning, and Safety<\/li>\n
  • Analyze and manage departmental data and reports<\/li>\n
  • Facilitate proactive communication between Japanese management and local employees<\/li>\n
  • Participate in additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Japanese-English bilingual proficiency is required<\/li>\n
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
    • Interest in manufacturing, production, or monozukuri (craftsmanship\/manufacturing culture) preferred<\/li>\n
    • Entry-level candidates are welcome<\/li>\n
    • Prior interpretation experience is a plus, but not required<\/li>\n
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills preferred<\/li>\n
