Summary of the Position:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our client is seeking a bilingual (Japanese-English) Senior Operations Executive & IT Manager to lead digital systems and operational workflows. This role acts as a bridge between business operations and IT, driving system design, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.<\/p>\n

The position will oversee system integrations (EDI\/API), manage IT vendors, support quality control from a technical perspective, and lead company-wide process improvements through automation and digitization.<\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

Breakdown of Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • 40% Systems Design & Project Management<\/li>\n
  • 25% Client Integration (EDI\/API)<\/li>\n
  • 20% Automation & QC Support<\/li>\n
  • 15% Digital Transformation (DX)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    <\/h3>\n

    Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Analyze operational issues and translate them into technical requirements for IT vendors<\/li>\n
    • Design system workflows and logic for internal applications<\/li>\n
    • Manage system development projects, including timeline and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)<\/li>\n
    • Lead EDI and API integration projects with client systems (ERP, logistics platforms)<\/li>\n
    • Act as the main technical point of contact for client onboarding and system improvements<\/li>\n
    • Implement RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to reduce manual work<\/li>\n
    • Support Quality Control by identifying system issues and improving data accuracy<\/li>\n
    • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including workflow automation and paperless processes<\/li>\n
    • Introduce and manage low-code tools to improve internal operations<\/li>\n
    • Improve overall efficiency by digitizing manual processes (POs, expenses, internal requests)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      <\/h3>\n

      Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • 10+ years of experience in logistics \/ 3PL industry<\/li>\n
      • Experience in systems design, EDI implementation, or project management<\/li>\n
      • Business-level fluency in Japanese and English (spoken and written)<\/li>\n
      • Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)<\/li>\n
      • Experience managing UAT and working with IT vendors<\/li>\n
      • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        <\/h3>\n

        Must-have Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n
        • Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)<\/li>\n
        • Experience with forwarding\/logistics systems<\/li>\n
        • Strong understanding of EDI standards and integrations<\/li>\n
        • Experience with system workflow design and automation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          <\/h3>\n

          Nice to Have:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          • Experience with RPA tools (e.g., Keyence RK)<\/li>\n
          • Experience in Digital Transformation (DX) projects<\/li>\n
          • Advanced Microsoft 365 (data management, automation tools)<\/li>\n
          • Experience with low-code platforms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
