Japanese skills are preferred.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is accountable for enhancing customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and responding to needs in the most efficient manner while ensuring world-class order fulfillment. The team member serves as a resource to customers, prospects, warehouse, buyers, and outside sales staff.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Take and process customer orders, provide delivery information, and follow up as required<\/li>\n<li>Review workload and prioritize work to ensure delivery times, locations, and customer requirements are consistently met<\/li>\n<li>Become versed and continually pursue knowledge on all manufactured product group(s) as assigned<\/li>\n<li>Learn to utilize computer systems and programs such as ERP software, Microsoft Office, and email<\/li>\n<li>Notify supervisor, warehouse, and outside sales staff of customer issues as warranted<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate customer contact records<\/li>\n<li>Build relationships with customers by maintaining a high level of customer service and providing value-added services such as consumption and inventory reporting<\/li>\n<li>Create strong professional relationships with assigned accounts<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate shipment of products (including expedited and third-party freight) with warehouse personnel<\/li>\n<li>Prepare purchase orders, warehouse releases, invoices, ISO certificates, Certificates of Analysis (COA), export documents, and other records, and review for accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Assist sales and accounts receivable to ensure customer invoices are paid according to company terms<\/li>\n<li>Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, including inquiries, complaints, and actions taken<\/li>\n<li>Organize and maintain filing systems and records<\/li>\n<li>Monitor inventory data and reconcile with warehouse month-end reports<\/li>\n<li>Participate in departmental and cross-functional meetings or training as required<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with operations teams to ensure materials are ordered or transferred as needed<\/li>\n<li>Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed<\/li>\n<li>Screen phone calls and greet guests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h4>Education and\/or Experience<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED required<\/li>\n<li>Associate degree in business or related field preferred<\/li>\n<li>3\u20135 years of customer service experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience<\/li>\n<li>Shipping\/logistics experience is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3><strong>Physical Demands<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Regularly required to talk or hear<\/li>\n<li>Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit<\/li>\n<li>Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3><strong>Work Environment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Moderate noise level (typical office environment)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a confined area<\/li>\n<li>Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3><strong>Language Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English<\/li>\n<li>Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings<\/li>\n<li>Japanese language is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3><strong>Reasoning Ability<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3><strong>Other Skills and Abilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to concentrate for extended periods<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24877","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
