Summary of the Position:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This position plays a key role in driving sales growth and expanding market presence within the food industry. The Sales Associate will build strong relationships with distributors and restaurant clients while promoting high-quality food products.<\/p>\n

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food culture, enjoys working directly with customers, and thrives in a dynamic, relationship-driven sales environment.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Account Management & Business Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and restaurant clients<\/li>\n
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach and networking<\/li>\n
  • Expand and manage existing accounts to drive sales growth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Sales Activities & Customer Engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Conduct regular client visits within assigned territories (including out-of-state travel)<\/li>\n
    • Present products and propose solutions based on customer needs<\/li>\n
    • Support product demonstrations, tastings, trade shows, and sales presentations<\/li>\n
    • Provide timely and high-quality customer service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Sales Operations & Market Insights<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Track and maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions<\/li>\n
      • Gather market intelligence and support sales strategy development<\/li>\n
      • Collaborate with internal teams and distributor partners to ensure smooth operations<\/li>\n
      • Participate in weekend work and travel as required<\/li>\n
      • Perform additional duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \ufeff<\/span>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n
        • 3+ years of sales experience in manufacturing or distribution<\/li>\n
        • 2+ years of experience in the food industry preferred<\/li>\n
        • Experience working with food distributors and\/or restaurant clients<\/li>\n
        • Strong communication and relationship-building skills<\/li>\n
        • Ability to present products to groups effectively<\/li>\n
        • Willingness to travel domestically (including outside of California)<\/li>\n
        • Valid driver\u2019s license required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Strong interest in food, especially noodles or Japanese cuisine<\/li>\n
          • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven mindset<\/li>\n
