This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient supply chain processes and accurate inventory control within a manufacturing setting.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the flow of materials from suppliers and offsite locations<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels based on production and shipping needs<\/li>\n<li>Track and record incoming shipments accurately and in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate material ordering and delivery to support daily production schedules<\/li>\n<li>Control on-hand and incoming inventory volumes, including build-outs and obsolescence<\/li>\n<li>Support transportation coordination to optimize inventory turnover<\/li>\n<li>Order materials for new product launches based on production plans<\/li>\n<li>Escalate supply or quality issues to relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with industry quality standards<\/li>\n<li>Perform additional tasks as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain operations<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3\u20135 years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience with additional ERP systems (e.g., Plex)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate degree in Business or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This role operates in a manufacturing environment and may require extended periods of standing, handling materials, and occasional lifting.
