Senior Generalist<\/p>\n<p> Location: Torrance, CA<\/p>\n<p> Industry: Manufacturing<\/p>\n<p> Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt<\/p>\n<p> Salary: $75-80K<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This position is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR and general administration functions, including performance evaluation, payroll operations, recruiting, training programs, and compliance. <\/p>\n<p>The role requires <strong><u>strong analytical and Excel skills, as well as bilingual communication<\/u><\/strong> ability to collaborate with both <strong><u>English- and Japanese<\/u><\/strong>-speaking stakeholders. The individual will also contribute to process improvements, system operations, and special projects across the organization.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance Evaluation &amp; HR Systems<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create, maintain, and improve evaluation data files using Excel <strong><u>(including macros)<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Aggregate and analyze evaluation results and reporting data<\/li>\n<li>Support overall performance evaluation system operations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct evaluator and new hire training sessions<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing training plans and promotion-related data management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Payroll &amp; Compensation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct market research on compensation and pay scales<\/li>\n<li>Support salary increase and bonus planning processes<\/li>\n<li>Improve payroll-related data files with automated calculations (Excel macros)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update status change forms (pay adjustments)<\/li>\n<li>Assist with payroll processing, including 401(k) contributions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Recruitment &amp; Employee Lifecycle<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support hiring managers with recruiting and onboarding processes<\/li>\n<li>Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Training &amp; Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research and implement employee training and self-development programs<\/li>\n<li>Improve and manage annual training initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HR Administration &amp; Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administer employee benefits programs<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Special Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate and support cross-functional HR and administrative projects<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research and create presentations as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Translation &amp; Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide English\/Japanese translation and interpretation support for management<\/li>\n<li>Translate business documents and communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong proficiency in Excel, including macros and automation<\/li>\n<li>Advanced PowerPoint skills<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual in English and Japanese (both written and verbal)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with translation between English and Japanese<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of ADP payroll system is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and support cross-functional teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24674","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>H.R.\/G.A.
