{"id":24657,"date":"2026-03-28T01:03:26","date_gmt":"2026-03-28T01:03:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/job\/061928\/"},"modified":"2026-05-09T00:47:48","modified_gmt":"2026-05-09T00:47:48","slug":"061928","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/job\/061928\/","title":{"rendered":"Sales Assistant-Japanese Bilingual"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong style=\"font-family: tahoma\">Company :<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma\">\u00a0Japanese high-tech related company<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: tahoma\">Salary :<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma\">\u00a0$51k-79K(DOE), non-exempt<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: tahoma\">Work Hours:<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma\">\u00a08:30-5:15 &#8211; 1h Lunch Break<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: tahoma\">Location :<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma\">\u00a0Morgan Hill, CA *Hybrid Work, 3-4 days at the office<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefit: <\/strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma\">Commuting mileage reimbursement; meal allowance\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generate and deliver accurate quotations using company templates to customers in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Process orders promptly and communicate shipment dates to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with customer registrations and oversee credit limit applications.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct a quarterly audit and inventory check of SMI accounts, if applicable<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary liaison between factories and customers, utilizing tools such as email, customer portals, and EDI systems.<\/li>\n<li>Provide invoices to customers and ensure timely receipt of payments.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate meetings with distributors and ensure alignment with company objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update forecast data, budgets, and records in the CRM system.<\/li>\n<li>Accompany sales representatives on customer visits and tradeshows as needed to foster relationships and provide administrative support.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare presentation materials for both customers and internal use as requested.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly report sales activities, customer insights, and progress to the sales manager.<\/li>\n<li>Assist other Sales Assistant in office with support on answering office phone and greeting office visitors.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties may be assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in sales or customer service.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree is preferred but not required.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Japanese.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary Range<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>$51,000 &#8211; $79,000 per year (depending on experience) USD.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24657","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/24657","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=24657"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=24657"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=24657"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
