This role is responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting strategic financial planning, and leading the accounting team.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with GAAP<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and profit &amp; loss reports<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate internal and external audits<\/li>\n<li>Monitor revenue, expenses, and financial performance<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management<\/li>\n<li>Lead, train, and manage accounting staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies<\/li>\n<li>Improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations<\/li>\n<li>Support quality management systems and internal audits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate finance<\/li>\n<li>Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Leadership experience managing accounting teams<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills<\/li>\n<li><strong>Japanese at an idiomatic level.
