Position Overview<\/h2>\n

The IT Support Specialist will serve as the frontline technical partner for our restaurant operations. You will ensure seamless performance of all in-store technologies \u2014 including POS systems, kitchen devices, kiosks, payment systems, and networking infrastructure \u2014 while supporting daily operational needs and long-term scalability.<\/p>\n

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems in real time, working directly with store teams, and building systems that enable growth.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n

Technical Troubleshooting & System Support<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Diagnose and resolve in-store technology issues, including:\n
      \n
    • POS systems<\/li>\n
    • Kitchen Display Systems (KDS)<\/li>\n
    • Self-order kiosks<\/li>\n
    • Payment terminals<\/li>\n
    • Networking equipment, routers, mini-PCs, printers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Support reporting, stocktake & write-off processes<\/li>\n
    • Execute menu setup and system updates across multiple platforms<\/li>\n
    • Install and configure devices and applications<\/li>\n
    • Conduct routine system checks to minimize downtime<\/li>\n
    • Provide both on-site and remote support as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      User Support & Training<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Coach restaurant team members on system usage and best practices<\/li>\n
      • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff<\/li>\n
      • Ensure smooth execution of menu updates and operational changes<\/li>\n
      • Serve as a trusted technology partner to shop teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Operations & Vendor Coordination<\/h3>\n

        • Work directly with restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n
        • Recommend and implement technology improvements to enhance efficiency<\/li>\n
        • Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, escalations, and service issues<\/li>\n
        • Maintain hardware inventory and support procurement planning<\/li>\n
        • Participate in after-hours, weekend, and on-call support rotations<\/li>\n
        • Perform additional duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Qualifications<\/h2>\n

          Required Experience<\/h3>\n

          • 2\u20134 years of hands-on technical support experience in restaurant or retail environments<\/li>\n
          • Experience supporting:\n
              \n
            • POS systems<\/li>\n
            • Kitchen Display Systems<\/li>\n
            • Self-order kiosks<\/li>\n
            • Online ordering platforms<\/li>\n
            • Order Management Systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
            • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills<\/li>\n
            • Self-motivated with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset<\/li>\n
            • Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n
            • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment<\/li>\n
            • Comfortable meeting tight deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Preferred (Not Required)<\/h3>\n

              • Programming experience (PHP, React, JavaScript)<\/li>\n
              • Basic knowledge of supply chain workflows (Purchase Orders, Cash Sales)<\/li>\n
              • AWS Cloud experience<\/li>\n
              • Linux-based OS experience<\/li>\n
              • NetSuite experience (strong advantage)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
