About the Role<\/h2>\n

A growing industrial systems integration company supporting the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a full-time Controls Electrician \/ Panel Builder. This role focuses on control panel assembly, secondary wiring, equipment debugging, and commissioning for material handling and conveyor control systems used in OEM and Tier 1 manufacturing environments.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with electrical schematics, PLC-related components, and industrial automation equipment.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics<\/li>\n
  • Build and wire industrial control panels<\/li>\n
  • Assemble PLC, power supply, motor control, and safety circuits<\/li>\n
  • Perform secondary wiring for conveyors and machine cells<\/li>\n
  • Debug and troubleshoot equipment after fabrication<\/li>\n
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the panel shop<\/li>\n
  • Support commissioning activities for automated material handling systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred<\/li>\n
    • Equivalent technical certification or relevant hands-on experience accepted<\/li>\n
    • Experience with industrial control panels and electrical wiring<\/li>\n
    • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics<\/li>\n
    • Willingness to travel approximately 35% depending on project requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Skills<\/h2>\n
        \n
      • Experience with PLC-based control systems<\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with conveyor systems and machine integration<\/li>\n
      • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n
      • Ability to work independently and within a project team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
