This role focuses on next-generation Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) development, contributing to advanced in-vehicle systems in collaboration with cross-border teams.<\/p>\n<p>This is a unique opportunity to work on highly invested automotive projects, sharpening your technical expertise in a high-level engineering environment while collaborating with top engineers in North America and Japan.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<p><strong>Industry:<\/strong> Automotive Technology \/ Embedded Systems<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> In-Office (Plano, TX)<\/p>\n<p> (Client site work required; relocation support available)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flexible work options:<\/strong> Flexible working hours available<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:<\/strong> $80,000 \u2013 $110,000 (Base only, depending on experience)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k) with company match after 6 months<\/li>\n<li>100% company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for employees<\/li>\n<li>100% company-paid Life, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability insurance<\/li>\n<li>PTO starting at 12 days (increases up to 22 days based on tenure)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3>Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software or embedded systems development<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on development experience with Flutter, Rust, or similar technologies (e.g., Java, React)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with C++ or C in embedded environments is highly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development concepts<\/li>\n<li>Automotive or in-vehicle system development experience preferred (navigation, infotainment, audio, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Business-level or higher proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on-site at client locations as required<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pass background check and drug screening<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel domestically as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive applications<\/li>\n<li>Participate in front-end and back-end SDV development projects<\/li>\n<li>Estimate development effort and deliver high-quality solutions within timelines<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and software defects<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with engineering teams in Japan and North America<\/li>\n<li>Report to the Technical Director and contribute to cross-functional discussions<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support and mentorship as the team continues to grow<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<p>This position is hired by our client.
