This role is responsible for managing full program lifecycles, from planning and budgeting through launch, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and timing milestones.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage multiple automotive programs with significant business impact<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain master schedules, ensuring clear communication of critical milestones with customers, suppliers, engineering, purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales teams<\/li>\n<li>Drive budget control, timeline management, and cross-functional coordination<\/li>\n<li>Serve as primary customer liaison for program reviews, quality assurance plans, technical discussions, and manufacturing coordination<\/li>\n<li>Support purchasing activities including specification definition and supplier quotation processes<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate PPAP submissions with tooling and component suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Monitor program risks, proactively resolve issues, and escalate status updates to senior leadership<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with engineering and purchasing teams to evaluate suppliers and ensure achievement of cost, quality, timing, and delivery targets<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain detailed program tracking reports and management updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry<\/li>\n<li>Experience launching at least three automotive parts projects for a combination of Toyota and Nissan, Honda, or Ford\n<ul>\n<li>Alternatively, Design\/Development Engineers or Quality Engineers seeking a transition into project management will be considered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within a Japanese corporate environment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Japanese language proficiency preferred (business level or able to actively participate in meetings)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership capability to provide direction within cross-functional teams<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook for program tracking and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work with a strong sense of urgency<\/li>\n<li>High level of professionalism and ethical standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree with relevant applied business experience in the automotive industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office-based role with customer site and manufacturing plant visits<\/li>\n<li>Regular sitting, standing, bending, and facility movement required<\/li>\n<li>Occasional lifting of components up to 25 lbs (with assistance as needed)<\/li>\n<li>Domestic travel by car and air based on customer and business needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>***Above details are subject to change.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and may not include all responsibilities or requirements.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24352","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/24352","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=24352"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=24352"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=24352"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
