Accounting Specialist (Full-Time)<\/h2>\n

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist<\/strong> to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly organized accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both independent work and cross-functional collaboration.<\/p>\n

Position: Accountanting Specialist <\/strong><\/p>\n

Location: Laguna Hills, CA<\/p>\n

Work Hours: M- F 8:30-4:30 or 9-5 (1 hour lunch – actual work 35 hours\/week)<\/p>\n

Work Style: Hybrid 1-2 days\/week at the office<\/p>\n

Company: The company specializes in designing and manufacturing high-precision mixing and dispersion equipment, such as planetary centrifugal mixers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Salary Range: $65,000- $70,000\/year<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable (A\/R)<\/li>\n
  • Post daily deposits in accounting software<\/li>\n
  • Perform bookkeeping and bank reconciliations<\/li>\n
  • Reconcile credit card statements and merchant accounts<\/li>\n
  • Process invoices, apply payments, and support the sales team<\/li>\n
  • Follow up on past-due accounts and assist with collections as needed<\/li>\n
  • Record and track advance payments<\/li>\n
  • Research and resolve customer A\/R discrepancies<\/li>\n
  • Prepare customer audit statements<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate data entry and verify financial transactions<\/li>\n
  • Review sales tax and exemption documentation<\/li>\n
  • Communicate with banks, CPAs, and external partners as necessary<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with warehouse regarding financial or inventory issues<\/li>\n
  • Review and process commission bills and 1099 reporting<\/li>\n
  • Support Accounts Payable functions as needed<\/li>\n
  • Process purchase orders and enter bills in the accounting system<\/li>\n
  • Update inventory reports based on warehouse receipts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • 8+ years of accounting experience required<\/li>\n
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint<\/li>\n
    • Experience with QuickBooks Online (mandatory)<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills<\/li>\n
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines<\/li>\n
    • Professional communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
