The ideal candidate has hands-on freight forwarding experience and strong communication skills in a multicultural business environment.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrange bookings and coordinate shipments with air, ocean, and ground carriers<\/li>\n<li>Manage import\/export and domestic transportation operations (Air \/ Ocean \/ Trucking)<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate closely with vendors, customers, overseas affiliates, and <strong>Japan headquarters<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Track cargo movement and provide shipment updates to customers and overseas offices<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and process required trade documentation, including AES and JP AFR filings<\/li>\n<li>Create and issue shipping documents such as B\/L, Arrival Notice, and freight invoices<\/li>\n<li>Respond to rate requests and support freight quotation processes<\/li>\n<li>Attend cargo loading\/unloading at ports, airports, and customer\/shipper sites as needed<\/li>\n<li>Visit customer\/shipper locations for project planning and logistics coordination<\/li>\n<li>Handle daily operational communication via Email, PDF, and internal systems (including Sage50)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum <strong>3 years of experience<\/strong> in freight forwarding or import\/export logistics operations<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with Air, Ocean, and domestic transportation coordination<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of international trade documentation and customs procedures<\/li>\n<li>Experience communicating with <strong>Japanese headquarters or Japanese clients preferred<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Japanese bilingual is highly preferred but not necessary<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook<\/li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>Sage50 accounting system<\/strong> is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24265","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/24265","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=24265"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=24265"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=24265"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
