This role plays a key part in ensuring payroll compliance, data integrity, and smooth payroll operations while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Job responsibilities<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Payroll Processing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage end-to-end payroll for salaried and hourly employees <\/li>\n<li>Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time<\/li>\n<li>Review payroll data including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, and deductions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compliance &amp; Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local payroll regulations<\/li>\n<li>Manage payroll tax filings, remittances, and year-end processes (W-2s, T4s, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Stay current on payroll legislation and apply updates as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>GL &amp; Reconciliations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare monthly payroll-related journal entries<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Finance on month-end and year-end close<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Systems &amp; Data Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records<\/li>\n<li>Support system updates, testing, and payroll audits<\/li>\n<li>Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with HR to ensure accurate employee data<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with external payroll and benefits vendors<\/li>\n<li>Provide payroll reporting and updates to Finance and leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of payroll experience with hands-on U.S. and Canada payroll processing<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax requirements in both countries<\/li>\n<li>Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms<\/li>\n<li>High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px\">To\u00a0apply\u00a0please\u00a0email\u00a0your\u00a0resume\u00a0to<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:nyamamoto@pasona.com\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"font-size: 14px\">myamamoto@pasona.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24139","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/24139","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=24139"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=24139"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=24139"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
