The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in <strong>Air Import and Ocean Import operations<\/strong>, along with the ability to communicate effectively in <strong>Japanese<\/strong> and familiarity with workflows at a <strong>Japanese freight forwarder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage end-to-end <strong>Air Import and Ocean Import<\/strong> shipments, ensuring smooth and timely processing<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review import documentation such as invoices, packing lists, arrival notices, and delivery orders<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate shipment schedules and delivery arrangements with airlines, ocean carriers, trucking companies, warehouses, and customers<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with U.S. customs regulations and internal SOPs<\/li>\n<li>Track shipments and proactively resolve any delays, discrepancies, or documentation issues<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with internal teams, overseas offices\/agents, and customers (including Japanese-speaking clients)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate shipment records and update operational systems accordingly<\/li>\n<li>Provide high-level customer service and support related to import\/export operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong ability to independently handle <strong>Air Import and Ocean Import<\/strong> operations at an advanced level<\/li>\n<li><strong>Japanese language proficiency<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Prior experience working for a <strong>freight forwarder<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of import documentation and logistics operations<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting both import and export operations (in addition to imports)<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with major forwarding systems (e.g., CargoWise or similar)<\/li>\n<li>Customer-facing experience with Japanese corporate clients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Hourly rate: <strong>$25\u2013$27\/hour<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Additional benefits package details to be provided during interview process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[],"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-24073","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/24073","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=24073"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-categories?post=24073"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pasona.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=24073"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
