Position Overview<\/h3>\n

This contract Quality Inspector role supports fabrication and assembly work for high-purity systems used in advanced manufacturing environments. The position focuses heavily on weld inspection, piping systems, and vessel fabrication, ensuring all work meets strict industry and customer standards. This is a hands-on role that works closely with fabrication teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep quality front and center throughout the build process.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Perform visual inspections of welds to verify compliance with specifications and industry standards<\/li>\n
  • Inspect fabricated vessels, skidded systems, and internal vessel components<\/li>\n
  • Review welding procedures and qualification records to ensure adherence to requirements<\/li>\n
  • Support and guide welding personnel on proper procedures and quality expectations<\/li>\n
  • Conduct in-house inspections of fabricated parts and PVC internal components<\/li>\n
  • Inspect PVDF, PP, and PVC piping systems used in high-purity applications<\/li>\n
  • Document inspections through reports, photos, and records, submitting findings to management<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with other departments to align inspection activities with project plans<\/li>\n
  • Maintain strong working relationships with supplier quality teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h3>\n

    Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Trade school diploma preferred, ideally with a welding focus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • 5\u20137 years in a manufacturing or fabrication environment<\/li>\n
      • Experience inspecting PVDF\/PP piping welds for high-purity or semiconductor applications<\/li>\n
      • Experience with PVC piping bonding inspections<\/li>\n
      • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Technical Knowledge & Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Strong understanding of WPS, WQTR, and PQR documentation<\/li>\n
        • Knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASTM, ASME, D1.1, and corrosion standards<\/li>\n
        • Nondestructive Testing (NDT) certification preferred<\/li>\n
        • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings<\/li>\n
        • Familiarity with mechanical measuring tools and inspection equipment<\/li>\n
        • Proficient in MS Office and basic computer systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
