Position Summary<\/h3>\n

The Vice President of Compliance oversees corporate compliance functions, including international trade and customs compliance, business process management (BPM), and regulatory alignment with U.S. federal, state, and international requirements.<\/p>\n

\n<\/hr>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n

Customs & Trade Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Serve as the company\u2019s licensed Customs Broker qualifier<\/li>\n
  • Monitor and advise on international trade compliance<\/li>\n
  • Communicate with U.S. Customs and respond to inquiries<\/li>\n
  • Review and approve customers and vendors<\/li>\n
  • Maintain FMC compliance, including tariff re-filing and training<\/li>\n
  • Conduct internal customs audits and minimize ISF and entry errors<\/li>\n
  • Ensure timely customs entries and duty payments<\/li>\n
  • Acquire and maintain C-TPAT certification<\/li>\n
  • Provide ongoing compliance training to prevent import\/export violations<\/li>\n
  • Evaluate and implement compliance tools, including AI for commodity classification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Business Process Management (BPM)<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Maintain company policies, licenses, and compliance documentation<\/li>\n
    • Review, update, and support implementation of SOPs<\/li>\n
    • Automate manual operational processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Corporate Compliance Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Develop and maintain the company compliance program<\/li>\n
      • Ensure adherence to applicable U.S. and international regulations<\/li>\n
      • Act as liaison with parent\/group entities to align compliance standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n<\/hr>\n

        Qualifications<\/h3>\n

        Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • U.S. Customs Broker License<\/li>\n
        • 10+ years of logistics or transportation experience<\/li>\n
        • 10+ years of people management experience<\/li>\n
        • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations<\/li>\n
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n
          • Import customs operations or international forwarding experience<\/li>\n
          • Legal or regulatory affairs experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n<\/hr>\n

            • Up to 25% domestic travel required<\/li>\n
            • Standard office environment<\/li>\n
            • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship is available for this role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
