The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting marketing initiatives.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Sales Management<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute sales strategies and forecasts to identify new business opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Understand customer needs and budgets to tailor sales approaches effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain relationships with existing accounts and sales representatives.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct opportunity identification, account qualification, and needs analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and activity metrics (calls, meetings, demos, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular updates to management and collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Support technical coordination between U.S. and Japan-based teams.<\/li>\n<li>Train and support Sales Representatives on new products.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in exhibitions and follow up with prospective customers.<\/li>\n<li>Update and maintain marketing tools such as websites, catalogs, and promotional materials.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate contracts with customers and representatives with the assistance of the legal team.<\/li>\n<li>Handle administrative support as needed and assist visiting teams or trainees from Japan.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely collections of accounts receivable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Marketing Management<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Gather and evaluate data on market activities, competitor movements, and industry developments.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present reports to management on market and competitor updates.<\/li>\n<li>Attend conventions and industry meetings to stay informed on the latest market trends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h2><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Work Experience:<\/strong> No prior experience required (training provided).<\/li>\n<li><strong>License:<\/strong> Valid driver\u2019s license required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Language:<\/strong> English proficiency required; Japanese language ability is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h2><strong>Skills &amp; Attributes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Highly organized and self-motivated with attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).<\/li>\n<li>Interest in technology, industrial components, or system integration products preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Ethical, professional, and proactive approach to work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<h2><strong>Work Environment &amp; Physical Demands<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Environment:<\/strong> Office-based with moderate noise levels.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Travel:<\/strong> Up to 50% domestic and international business travel required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Equipment:<\/strong> Standard office tools (PC, printer, copier, etc.).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Physical Requirements:<\/strong> Ability to sit for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and its responsibilities.
