A leading automotive parts manufacturer is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its U.S. internal audit team. This role plays a key part in supporting audit and compliance activities across the Americas, while also serving as a cross-cultural liaison between Japanese executives and local management.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Perform internal audits (J-SOX, financial, operational, compliance, and IT\/security) across multiple locations (MI, TX, CA, Mexico)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Identify deficiencies, inefficiencies, or non-compliance through data analysis and audits<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support the development and implementation of audit methodologies and risk assessments<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Prepare audit reports with recommendations for process improvements<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist in audit planning, fieldwork scheduling, and communication with auditees<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Translate or facilitate communications during meetings between Japanese-speaking executives\/shareholders and local teams<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Conduct special assignments or projects as directed by management<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Fluency in both Japanese and English\u00a0(Spanish is a plus)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience in internal audits (J-SOX, SOX, ISO, IATF, or TS)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, audit standards, and risk management<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Comfortable with occasional travel and flexible hours during audit periods<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience in the Japanese manufacturing\/automotive industry strongly preferred<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
