Japanese chemical trading firm\u00a0Chicago office seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our finance team. This individual will lead budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and dashboard development for two of our core business units. You will collaborate with senior leadership across multiple departments and contribute to key strategic initiatives, financial reporting, and operational improvements.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Do:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Lead budgeting and forecasting processes including model creation, variance analysis, and performance tracking<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Prepare financial statement packages, perform monthly\/quarterly close activities, and conduct variance analysis<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and IT to improve data transparency and forecasting accuracy<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and executive-level reports to support business decision-making<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Analyze inventory, fixed assets, and reserve accounts while ensuring general ledger accuracy<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS (where applicable)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Translate complex financial data into clear visualizations and executive presentations<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Drive continuous improvement by automating reporting processes and streamlining workflows<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Support M&A due diligence, scenario modeling, and other strategic projects<\/span><\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Bring:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a05\u20138 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS exposure is a plus<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools (SAP)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Experience automating financial and operational reports using Tableau or other BI tools.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and collaborative environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Experience automating financial and operational reports using Tableau or other BI tools. <\/span><\/p>\n
