Position Summary<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Financial Manager plays a key role in supporting the company\u2019s financial operations by managing audit-related activities, budgeting, transfer pricing initiatives, and cash flow management. This position serves as a financial liaison between department managers\/teams and the General Manager (GM), ensuring accurate reporting, sound financial control, and smooth cross-functional communication.<\/p>\n

While the Accounting Manager will lead most audit processes, the Financial Manager will primarily handle audit-related communication and coordination that requires Japanese language skills, including interaction with the parent company.<\/p>\n

This role may expand in the future to include payment processing responsibilities.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Support external financial audits and respond to audit inquiries, particularly in areas requiring Japanese communication<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate and support group consolidated financial statement audit processes, including communication with the parent company<\/li>\n
  • Develop budget proposals and support budget planning activities<\/li>\n
  • Prepare, analyze, and report various accounting and financial data to the General Manager (GM)<\/li>\n
  • Support transfer pricing compliance and initiatives<\/li>\n
  • Manage cash flow and oversee related purchasing \/ ordering controls<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with department managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and financial transparency<\/li>\n
  • (Future scope) Potential involvement in payment processing and settlement operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Required Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Solid knowledge of accounting, finance, and taxation<\/li>\n
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of trade \/ import-export business practices<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with managers, teams, and leadership<\/li>\n
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n
        \n
      • Experience in audit support and\/or consolidated financial reporting<\/li>\n
      • Experience with transfer pricing-related processes<\/li>\n
      • Business-level Japanese (required for parent company communication); English proficiency for internal reporting and coordination<\/li>\n
      • Experience working in an international or multinational environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Position in the Organization<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        This role sits between the General Manager and various department managers\/teams, acting as a key financial partner across the organization. The Financial Manager will help bridge communication and reporting needs, particularly in finance-related matters involving the parent company.<\/p>\n
